The table tops are made exclusively from urban salvaged black walnut - some of the most sustainable wood on the planet. This walnut is salvaged from city trees in Connecticut that came down during storms or had to be cut for city planning. Normally these trees are headed for the dump, but we salvaged them, milled them, and turn them into beautiful, heirloom pieces with amazing stories. The solid walnut table tops feature a "knife edge" profile and have a routed slot for running your computer cables, phones chargers, etc. neatly down to plug in. The legs and aprons are made entirely from sustainably harvested solid walnut - precision milled and finished with a commercial grade, sustainable finish.
